DS-57 “Bugatti” armchair by Franz Romero for De Sede Swiss, 1980s. Inspired by Bugatti Typ 57, the designer not only succeeded in adopting the characteristic seating comfort of Bugatti car seats, but also in creating a visually perfect embodiment of the car in armchair form. The chair is upholstered in Italian full-grain leather and the base is made of solid wood and shiny stainless steel.
