Timeless design, thoughtfully curated: Afterhour Furniture is a concept store that specializes in collecting vintage furniture and smaller decorative objects by international artists.
How it all started
We are Anna & Chiara, the duo behind the scenes, both founders and curators. It all started with a small collection, a few Space Age lamps, some Bauhaus chairs, a Mid-century table - until suddenly, our apartment was bursting at the seams. Instead of scaling back, we decided to turn our passion into something bigger and launched Afterhour Furniture in 2022. Without a showroom that first year, we hosted pop-up events together with talented artists at different locations, sharing our finds with fellow furniture & design lovers. These events were so inspiring that even now, with our permanent showroom, we continue to host 5-6 pop-ups a year, creating a unique space for art, community, and sustainability.
Our passion has taken us on some serious adventures. Armed with our trusty van, we drive across Europe, hand-selecting each item to ensure its authenticity and quality. When certain pieces require a bit of care, we restore or upcycle them to renew their life while keeping the original charm intact. Each piece in our collection carries more than just design, it holds the memories and stories of those who owned it. We’re inspired by their journey and the lives & spaces they’ve been part of.
At Afterhour Furniture, we give vintage pieces a second life and new purpose, ready to become part of a new home and carry their story forward. Alongside them, we offer contemporary interior objects to complement the furniture and complete your space.
