The Babà collection by Italian-based artist Alice Crepaldi reimagines Murano glassmaking with a contemporary sensibility. Inspired by the human form, each vase is created using the ancient ingabbiato technique — molten glass blown into a metal cage, where it expands into organic, unpredictable shapes. Every piece is one of a kind, capturing the beauty of a fleeting moment as glass crystallizes into form. In close collaboration with Murano masters, Crepaldi ensures exceptional craftsmanship and an authentically handmade finish.

Available in two sizes and five radiant colors — amber, turquoise green, blue/amethyst, grapefruit yellow, and aquamarine — each Babà vase can also be custom ordered. Currently, two Longneck vases in amber and turquoise are available in our Vienna showroom.
