PAYMENT POLICY
Once you have set your eye on one or more pieces and wish to place an order with Afterhour Furniture, you will receive a legally valid invoice with all company details and numbers to make a bank transfer. As we only accept bank wires, we kindly ask you to pay the outstanding amount within 3 days after receiving the invoice. The item(s) will only be dispatched after receipt of the payment. By arrangement, the goods can also be paid for in cash upon delivery (if we deliver ourselves). Please notice that the invoice number should be used as reference for any bank transfer for us to track incoming payments more easily. If payments are not received within 7 days after receipt of invoice, we assume you are no longer interested in the item and will release the hold.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
To offer you a cost-efficient delivery worldwide, we work together with efficient and trusted couriers. For us to obtain a suitable shipping quote, we need to know the exact quantity(s) of goods desired, the delivery address and whether the purchase is for an individual or a company. Please note that packing and shipping fees are not included in the sale price of any item(s) and are for the buyer to cover. If you wish to pick up your item(s) or arrange delivery yourself, please let us know if you would like us to sort packaging or not. Within Vienna and the surrounding area, we also deliver personally, carry the goods into your home and set them up if needed. Please note that all other deliveries are door-to-door only, meaning only to the curb. Once the item(s) leave the warehouse, we as Afterhour Furniture are no longer responsible for any delays, damages or losses. Shipping with insurance is not standard, so please let us know in advance if you would prefer this as an option.
DAMAGES DURING / AFTER SHIPPING
Unfortunately, it can accrue that goods get damaged during deliveries. We therefore recommend including an insurance for any transportations. However, in the event of damage even with insurance it is not guaranteed that you will get refunded. We as a company are not responsible for any refunds of this kind. If you notice any defects on the packaging or the good(s) please first report immediately to us and then to the shipping company within 24 hours of receipt or else, it will be difficult to prove that the damage did not occur after delivery. Also keep in mind to thoroughly document any defects for investigations.
RETURN POLICY
If an item has a major defect that doesn’t match the information and photos provided beforehand, we will offer a refund after given notice within 48 hours of receipt. You can either get the amount of the returned item(s) refunded – 15% restocking fee, or we can grant you a store credit note in the whole amount. Please note that all shipping & packing costs (back and forth) are for the buyer to cover. We do our best to provide full documentation of all marks but with used goods of this age certain traces of wear are normal and should be expected by the buyer. To avoid unnecessary returns please contact us in case you have any questions or wish to see more detailed photos of the product(s).
